Sustaining our library through capital projects
In 1997, the Foundation for the Blount County Public Library was formed to build a new library that could meet the needs of a growing community. Now, we preserve that investment by funding capital projects that keep the library safe, efficient, and ready to serve patrons.

We fund technologies that improve the library's energy efficiency and personnel costs, ensuring excellent stewardship of public funds.

We help the library purchase, install, and implement equipment and building upgrades that keep patrons and staff safe.

Measurable impact
Blount County Public Library serves all ages and walks of life in Blount County, Tennessee, including residents from five municipalities and students from three different school systems, several private schools, and homeschool.
